Here we go!
Brynlee woke up with a fever yesterday of 103.3. I had Mark bring her into the pediatrician because I was not feeling well. Our Ped, called us back last night and told us that Brynlee has the flu. We won't know for a couple of days if it is the swine flu but she is pretty sure that's what it is. We started her on Tamiflu last night and everything seems to be ok so far. Her chest x-ray looked great and she still doesn't have a cough or anything respiratory going on so far. Fingers crossed that this is the worst it gets. She still has a fever of 100.4 on Tylenol today. I am waiting for the ped to call me back to let me know what to expect.

Praying hard that Brynlee doesn't get any sicker with the flu.
Big hugs
My son, Ryan, age 13 just got over the H1N1. That is really the only flu going around right now. Please let me know if you have any questions at all. I can tell you right now that for my son, weak type 2, we had to stay on top of treatments every four hours for a couple of weeks. And the secretions from this flu are VERY thick. Sending huge prayers!!
crap! praying that she has a mild version of this damn flu. I'm so sorry you guys. this is just not fair after the type of summer she had. (HUGS)
Oh, I'm so sorry! Nicholas has a cold right now...no fever anymore but all the mucus is so tough on him. We are trying to suction as much as possible. I hope Brynlee (and you) start feeling better again soon!
Oh Tara, I was so hoping this would pass you guy by! We will be praying for her, and you!

Brooke just got over that. I am SO sorry! Not much fun, as you well know. I hope you continue to see her improving. Yuck, I am so sorry. You'll be in our prayers!
Darn it. That dang flu hits someone else everytime I turn around. I am thinking of you guys and hope she gets better real soon. Maya was cold free for an entire month and a half (AMAZING!) and it finally got her last weekend. Luckily not the flu. Cough assist, cough assist! It doesn't matter how many precautions you take these days.
We will add Brynlee to our prayer list. Hope the Tamiflu kicks it.
Germ free hugs from IL
